 Solutions

Ventilated system

The Honeycomb Stone Cladding System is ideally suited for Ventilated Façade applications. Its thin panel profile, combined with various modes of mounting, provides variable depths of air space between the back of the cladding panel and the building structure. This gap provides acoustic isolation of the building from the external environment. The gap, when vented at the top and bottom of the façade, as well as around each panel, also allow for the movement of air and moisture out of the space.

Curtain wall system

The Honeycomb Stone cladding is the perfect solution for Curtain Wall applications, with its frameless design, lightweight, high strength, and adaptable mounting system. A Honeycomb-based curtain wall is very light. This reduces the need for extra structural support that can add weight and cost to the building. The panel assembly resists air and water infiltration but also allows for the drainage of any moisture that may get in behind the panels, as in the case of condensation.

Ceilings and Soffit Applications

Ceilings and soffit design can be challenging depending on what materials are specified to achieve the desired aesthetics. Using dimensional stone panels, for example, would require reinforced substructures and specialized equipment to lift and place the panels. Alternatively, Honeycomb Stone Cladding System can easily accommodate ceiling and soffit applications because of its high strength, lightweight, and ease of transportation, handling and installation. What is even more important is that designs can be measurably more elaborate and complex to free the designer from the limitations of heavy materials.

Interior Wall Applications

As with dividing walls, Honeycomb Stone cladding panels are the perfect solution to make interior walls, a design statement. Easily create mosaics, or patterned designs using multiple kinds of stone, porcelain, or glass… all in one panel. High traffic areas that may take more abuse can be made of stronger materials and can be made so that they can be easily replaced if damaged. Fewer structural requirements, along with ample space for wiring or conduits, allows for rapid panel installation and reduced cost. The panel’s design flexibly can accommodate bends, corners and various angles to create interesting and unusual forms while also achieving functionality.
